Second Annual Chester Heights Country Fair Saturday, April 30, 2011

April 27th, 2011 by Innkeeper

Remember the good old days of summer promenading around the town square and listening to the barber shop quartet while  sipping lemonade?  Wll, neither do I but the movies sure make those times sound wonderful.    Now is your chance to go back to those days.  Just a reminder of our upcoming country fair in Chester Heights.    Lots of fun things are planned this year which will be held at the Chester Heights Boro Park on Valley Brook Road across the street from Wilson’s Auction.   The cross street is Route 1.  Fair will be open from 12 noon until 4 PM with free parking  at Wilson’s.  There are many events for you to enjoy.  First and foremost are free appraisals by Wilsons Auction.  Each person will receive 3 free appraisals with the cost of  the 4th and subsequent items at only $5.00 per item.  Music will be provided by Michael Favinger.  Wonderful food will be provided by Creole Soule.

There will be old clocks on display, a beekeeper, the Wawa antique truck, and Chester Heights fire truck.  You’ll find produce and flowers,  and various vendors showcasing art work and crafts.  For the kids a duck pond, face painting and pony rides offered by Rattlebox Nature Center (www.ratleboxnaturecenter.com).  Many more surprises in store as well as a raffle for many prizes including a one night stay in a suite at Hamanassett Bed and Breakfast.
